# Follower tiers

Nano, micro, macro and mega: the four follower bands every surface uses.

## Definition

A follower tier is the band an account's follower count falls in. There are four, and every page, tool and report uses the same bands.

## How it is computed

- Nano: fewer than 10,000 followers. Micro: 10,000 to 100,000. Macro: 100,000 to 1 million. Mega: 1 million or more.
- Brand of the Day shows the creator size mix: the share of the brand's creators in each tier, with the count.
- Some components of the quality score are ranked against the follower tier.

## Limits

- A tier follows the current follower count, so an account moves between tiers as it grows.
- The mix counts creators who shared the brand in the week, not the audience of those creators.

## Example

An account with 85,000 followers is micro; at 100,000 it is macro.
