Starlecta Instagram account check · Free · Web

Type any public Instagram handle and read the account live: followers, the engagement rate over its latest posts and Reels with the number of items behind it, average likes and comments, median Reel plays, how often it posts and the Stories showing now. Starlecta counts public numbers and gives no score.

What it shows

Followers
The count at the time of the read, rounded down like the lookup card (to 1,000 under 100K, to 10,000 under 1M, to 100,000 above), with the number of posts in total.
Engagement rate
The median of (likes + comments) over followers across the latest posts and Reels, with the mean beside it and a line such as “Based on 11 of 12 items” with the dates. Fewer than 3 usable items: no number. 3 to 11: shown with a low-n flag.
Average likes and comments
The mean over the same items, each with its item count.
Median Reel plays
The median play count over the Reels among those items, with the number of Reels. Gross plays, not unique viewers.
Posting
How many items were posted in the last 30 days. When every item read falls inside 30 days the count is a lower bound such as 12+, with no rate per week.
Stories
Whether Stories are in the live Story tray at the moment of the read, and how many.
Last post
The date of the newest post or Reel that is not pinned, and how many days ago it was.
Not shown
No score, no category, no audience or contact data and no post list. Story views and reach are not available, so nothing about Story performance is shown.

How it is measured

Window, followers and last post

  • Window: The latest items Instagram returned for this account: up to 12 posts and Reels, not 90 days. Every figure says how many items stand behind it and from when to when.
  • Followers: The count at the time of the read, rounded down to the same size steps as the lookup.
  • Last post: The date of the newest non-pinned item.

Engagement rate, likes and comments

  • Engagement rate: For each usable item: (likes + comments) ÷ followers × 100. The tile shows the median; the mean is shown next to it. Items with hidden likes are left out, pinned posts are kept. Fewer than 3 usable items: no number. 3 to 11: shown with a low n flag.
  • Average likes and comments: The mean over the same items, with the same minimum of 3.

Reel plays, posting and Stories

  • Median Reel plays: The median of play counts over the Reels among the latest items. Plays are gross plays, not unique viewers.
  • Posting: The non-pinned items in the last 30 days. When every fetched item falls inside 30 days, the count is a lower bound and is shown as 12+, never as a rate.
  • Stories: The items in the live Story tray at the time of the read. A Story that is not seen is not proof that none exists. Story views and reach are not available, so nothing about Story performance is shown.

How fresh the data is

Nothing here comes from our catalogue. The account is read live from public Instagram when you ask. The reading is kept for 24 hours, so the same account opens at once for the next person. Every reading shows the time it was made (Turkey time) and, for each figure, how many items and which dates stand behind it.

Worked examples

Reading the engagement rate (illustrative)

Illustrative values, not a real account. An account has 250,000 followers. Instagram returns its latest 12 items and one of them hides its likes, so 11 items stand behind the rate. A post with 5,000 likes and 100 comments has an item rate of (5,000 + 100) / 250,000 = 2.04%. The rate shown is the median of the 11 item rates, with the mean beside it and the line “Based on 11 of 12 items”.

Why posting can read 12+ (illustrative)

Illustrative values, not a real account. All 12 items read were posted within the last 20 days. The account may have posted more than 12 in 30 days, so the page shows 12+ and no rate per week. If the same 12 items reached back 60 days, the page would count the ones from the last 30 days and show a rate per week.

Stories seen and not seen (illustrative)

Illustrative values, not a real account. One read finds 3 Stories in the live tray and says “Seen in this read”. A read of another account finds none and says “None seen in this read”. That does not mean the account has no Stories. Story views and reach are not available, so the page shows nothing about how Stories performed.

All three examples use made-up numbers. No real account is shown.

Limits and privacy

  • Public accounts with 10,000 or more followers only. Accounts under 10,000 followers and private accounts are not analysed; a private account shows only that it is private.
  • Nothing is stored beyond a 24-hour answer cache. No list of checked accounts is built from what visitors ask.
  • The figures describe the latest items Instagram returned, up to 12 posts and Reels. They do not cover 90 days or the whole account.
  • Engagement rate measures reactions relative to audience size. It is not reach, and it does not judge follower quality or describe the audience.
  • The check does not report sponsorships. A brand mention in a post is not proof of a paid collaboration.
  • Live reads are limited for everyone together. When the day's checks are used up the page says so and they reopen at 00:00 Turkey time; checks made in the last 24 hours still open at once.
  • To have an account left out, write to support@starlecta.com with the handle.

Questions

What does the account check show?

For one public Instagram account: followers, the engagement rate over its latest posts and Reels with the number of items behind it, average likes and comments, median Reel plays, how often it posts, the Stories seen right now and the date of the last post. Every figure carries its count and its dates.

Which accounts can I check?

Public accounts with 10,000 or more followers. A private account shows nothing but the fact that it is private.

Why is there no score?

The check reads public numbers and counts them. It does not rate an account, judge its followers or describe its audience.

How fresh are the numbers, and what is kept?

They are read live when you ask. The reading is kept for 24 hours, so the same account opens at once for the next person. Nothing else is stored, and no account list is built from what visitors ask.

How many checks can I run?

A few a day. Live reads are limited for everyone together; when the day's checks are used up the page says so and they reopen at 00:00 Turkey time.

Can an account be left out?

Yes. Write to support@starlecta.com with the handle and we will stop showing it.

Is the account check free?

Yes. There is no sign-up. A browser security check runs before a read, and each visitor has a few checks a day.

How is it different from the influencer lookup?

The lookup shows our stored, dated measurements of the accounts we track in Turkey, over 90 days. The account check reads any public account live and counts only the latest items Instagram returns, up to 12. The windows differ, so the two engagement rates can differ too.

Does it tell me whether an account's followers are real?

No. The check counts public numbers. It does not judge follower quality or describe the audience, and it gives no score.
